Kelly Criterion

The Kelly Criterion is a formula that calculates the optimal percentage of capital to risk on a single trade to maximize long-term account growth. It requires your win probability and reward-to-risk ratio, but its full output is too aggressive for most traders, so a fractional Kelly (e.g. half) is used in practice and many beginners prefer the simpler 1% rule.
