Corporations (treasury hedging)

Corporations are companies with currency exposure — exporters, importers and multinationals — that enter the FX market to hedge future cash flows rather than to speculate. They mainly use forwards, swaps and options through banks so that exchange-rate moves don't erode their operating margins.
