CySEC Regulation

CySEC regulation is oversight by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission of brokers based in Cyprus. Because Cyprus is in the EU, CySEC-licensed brokers follow EU rules under MiFID II and ESMA leverage caps (1:30 on major currency pairs for retail clients), and can passport their services across the EU.
