Demo account

A practice account using virtual funds. It lets you test platform operation and simulation conditions; its results do not establish identical live execution.

Illustrative example

How does it work in practice?

In a demo exercise with no other transactions, a booked loss of 300 PLN reduces a virtual balance of 10,000 PLN to 9,700 PLN. This simulated result does not establish identical fill prices on a live account.

A case to work through

A repeatable demo procedure

Model: practice an invalid-volume rejection, reading a fill confirmation and canceling a pending order.

  1. Record each instruction’s status and any confirmed deals.
  2. Assess whether you can identify rejection, execution and cancellation.

What follows? Treat the outcome as a platform-operation test.

Example boundary: Simulation does not prove identical liquidity or behavior with real funds.

A useful distinction

Demo account / Cent account

A cent account uses real money; demo is a simulation.

Check your understanding

Separate a procedural test from a live-result test.

Which conclusion is justified after this exercise?
