Cent account
A cent account is a live account displaying values in cents of a specified currency, such as USD. The label does not define contract size or maximum loss; check units per lot, minimum volume, margin and provider terms separately.
Illustrative example
How does it work in practice?
On a hypothetical account displayed in US cents, a 10 USD deposit appears as 1,000 cents. A loss of 250 cents is 2.50 USD, or 25% of that deposit, before other transactions.
A case to work through
Costs recorded in US cents

- The new 2,300-cent balance equals 23 USD.
