Cent account

A cent account is a live account on which the broker shows the balance and the result in cents instead of dollars — a ten-dollar deposit appears as one thousand cents. The money is real, but position sizes and risk amounts are small enough that a losing session costs about the price of a coffee. It acts as a bridge between a demo account and a full micro or standard account, teaching you to absorb a real loss, though the profits are equally trivial.
