Liquidity
Liquidity is the market's ability to absorb a buy or sell order without a meaningful change in price. It drives two real costs: the width of the spread and the size of slippage. It is highest on the major pairs (EUR/USD) and during the London–New York session overlap, and lowest on exotics, weekends and holidays.
