EUR/USD

EUR/USD is the exchange rate of the euro against the US dollar — the most-traded currency pair in the world, accounting for roughly 22% of daily global forex turnover (BIS 2025). The euro is the base currency and the dollar the quote currency, so a rate of 1.08 means 1 EUR costs 1.08 USD. Its deep liquidity gives it the tightest spreads on the market (from 0.1–0.3 pip at ECN brokers), with a typical daily range (ATR-14) around 65–75 pips.
