Volume Profile

Volume Profile is a histogram of traded volume arranged by price level rather than by time, where the longest bars mark the prices of greatest activity. Its key points are the POC (Point of Control, the price with the highest volume) and the Value Area (the range holding about 70% of turnover). On spot forex there is no single true volume, so platforms usually show tick volume — treat the profile as a probability map, not a measurement.
