Tilt

Tilt is a state of emotional loss of control in which a trader — usually after a loss or losing streak — abandons the plan and makes impulsive, revenge-driven decisions (oversizing, chasing trades, ignoring stop-losses). Borrowed from poker, tilt is a leading cause of blowing up an account, so recognizing it early and stepping away from the screen matters.
