Pivot Points

Pivot points are support and resistance levels calculated from the previous session's high, low and close. The central pivot PP = (H + L + C) / 3, with three resistances (R1–R3) and three supports (S1–S3) derived symmetrically around it. Intraday traders treat them as ready-made entry, target and stop levels because real orders often cluster at exactly these numbers.
