Monetary Policy
Monetary policy is the set of actions a central bank (e.g. the Fed, ECB, Bank of England) takes to manage interest rates and the money supply in order to keep prices stable and support the economy. In forex it is one of the strongest fundamental drivers: rate hikes tend to strengthen a currency, while rate cuts tend to weaken it.
