MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence)

MACD is a momentum indicator measuring the gap between two exponential moving averages of price (default EMA 12 and EMA 26). The MACD line and its 9-period signal line generate buy/sell cues when they cross, while the histogram shows the strength and direction of momentum.
