Smart Money Concepts (SMC)

Smart Money Concepts (SMC) is a chart-analysis approach that tries to read the footprints of large institutional players (banks, funds) using ideas such as liquidity, order blocks, fair value gaps (FVG) and shifts in market structure. It assumes price gravitates toward zones where institutional orders cluster, where "smart money" accumulates or unloads positions. It is an interpretive framework, not a guaranteed method — a chart cannot reveal institutions' actual positions with certainty.
